Meta Tags: -

Meta Tags is a set of HTML codes that describes your phrases or content to the browsers or search spiders and simply you can say it explains your webpage to the web spiders or Google’s Crawler. Meta Tags are also an important aspect of SEO and here are some important Meta tags which are frequently used in website optimization.

Meta Description Tag or element: -

Description or Meta Description is a HTML Tag that is used to describe the webpage’s that what your page is about whether it is not important to improve the search rankings but it is beneficial or used as a advertise content that tells searchers about your page and let them know that exactly the given page have information they’re looking for.

A well maintained keyword reach description makes good keyword density to make your pages more descriptive and informative. And an ideal description should be 150-160 characters long.

Meta Keywords Tag or element: -

Meta Keyword is an HTML element which is used to target more keywords on a webpage to makes keyword relevancy in your websites content and also helpful to pointing extra keywords on your website and it is also provides extra content for Search Spiders or Google’s Web Crawler.

Meta Robots Tag or element: -

Meta Tags for Robots are used to control whether search engine spiders are allowed to index your website/webpage or whether not, or else you can force search engines to only cache (crawl) the page not to store the data in their servers. Meta Robots Tag is one of the best Tags to prevent indexing the content of a website or webpage in Search Engines.

URL Canonical issue is mainly found on index/landing page of a website which separates a domain two or more URLs like “www.abc.com” or “www.abc.com/index.html” or even “www.abc.com/home.html” so Google count it 2 or more landing pages or else different websites which are running on the Same Domain. It is also count as duplicate content running on the web so you make sure that your website does not have URL Canonical issue or if it has then you must fix it by using canonical meta tag.

WWW Redirection Issue: -

If your website with “WWW” or without “WWW” does not redirect to the same page then Google count it two different websites running on same address/domain or else it count as Duplicate Content. Like “abc.com” or “www.abc.com”. So you need to set a preferred domain or you can also use a 301 Redirect file to fix problem.

Navigation Structure Optimization: -

Navigation structure is also an important aspect to predict the quality of a website and it is also an important part of the On-page SEO. Every visitor/user wants effortless or smooth navigation while navigate or read a website. If you don’t have proper navigation structure then you can lose lot of your regular readers or visitors or if you follow proper and good navigation structure with some decorative content then it can attracts and engage more regular visitors for your website and a well maintained navigation structure can also be helpful to reduce bounce rate or makes your website more user-friendly.

Headings Tags: -

Heading Tags are mostly used for search engines. Heading Tags tells search engines heading of your web page. Heading tags are also used to make relevancy of the content and Google Spiders also pay attention to the H1 Tag (the most important tag) or all Heading tags which can be H1, H2… to H6.
