Use Face Recognition on Desktops

It is such an Utopian scenario to have everything like it is in 007 movies, like computers checking for the face credentials before someone logs on and all that jazz. Lenovo’s veriface will use your face as password to log onto laptops and desktops. However, Lenovo has taken it on them to prove that the so called Utopian scenario could actually become a reality with Veriface, which by the way just seems to be the beginning. Lenovo is already preparing to showcase its IdeaPad notebook, which features VeriFace, the face recognition software, which allows the user to log onto the computer by just sitting in front of it, using the face as their password. Combining the Windows log-in and file encryption to password-protect individual files, the software identifies the users by matching unique features of their faces to photographs that is taken by the built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam.
